Publication reject #1

I submitted a couple of cards to be published earlier this month - but they didn't make the cut!  I thought I'd share them in the gallery at the Clean and Simple Cardmaking class, as one of the classes was all about where to get inspiration, and I often get inspiration from online challenges, particularly ones with themes or sketches to follow.
This card followed a sketch as part of the call for submissions to a cardmaking magazine. And I was so pleased with this card, as yellow is certainly not my strong suit!  Oh, well, I'll just have to try again!  Having said that, it is a bit disappointing to be rejected :(
(but now I'm thinking to myself, "suck it up, princess - it's not the end of the world!!" LOL!)

I thought I might also submit this card to Annabelle Stamps "Anything Goes" challenge , as well as Moxie Fab's Cutting and Trimming challenge ;)

PS: I'm just realizing that tomorrow is Friday the 13th, now that I'm reading your post...maybe that's a bad luck day...and next time you'll do a whole lot better! I know that I think you have amazing talent!!

  2. I always find comments from the US a bit odd because of the time difference - it is already Friday the 13th here in Australia! It's after midday!!!
