Stretch Your Stamps, Day 1, Card 1

Hooray!  Another online card class has begun!  Yippee!

Boo - not entirely happy with my first card.

I like the idea of white embossing the Hero Arts Lattice Background on black, and then colouring some of the spaces in coloured pencil, I just think the card I came up with is a bit....... not right. I was going for a masculine look, but I'm not really happy with it.  Oh, well, going to share it, anyway.

  4. I'm glad you shared this one Michelle - I especially like the way you used the stamp for both the background and the focal point.

  5. Fabulous card, looks much like a design Kristina Werner would create. I love the tone on tone then the stained glass focal point using the same background stamp Very creative. I know, it is great to be back in class learning more from these two
    talented teachers!

  6. I think it looks great and the coloring on the black is a nice touch. The pop of orange works well as does the strip of the background going down the card.
